Use Enviro-Tex 2 stage epoxy, Read instuctions on application. Epoxy will waterproof it.

A standard 2 part 5 minute epoxy resin will work fine to waterproof your lures and keep them tough, just ensure its well mixed and at least two coats are applied, once one has fully dried add the next coat with a brush.
Ensure your epoxy is well mixed and allowed to dry naturally, if it has bubbles it wont dry very well.
Your epoxy coating should be applied after painting. It will give it a durable finish.
